Adapting to climate change by preventing corruption in public procurement (2022)
The project aims to support the process of introducing fair policies for the environment and a sustainable green transition by reducing corruption influences on green public procurement. For this purpose,
through monitoring and research, the risks of corruption in public procurement related to environmental protection and possible corruption impacts on the limited application of the so-called green procurement; the cooperation between civil society organizations and their participation in the processes of participatory creation of public policies that affect the prevention of corruption during adaptation to climate change will be intensified, and advocacy based on facts will be implemented to encourage greater application of the so-called green public procurement and prevention of corruption in that process. The project is implemented in partnership with 14 non-governmental organizations from the Platform of CSOs to Fight Corruption, and is financially supported by the Open Society Foundation - Macedonia.
