Transparency and Accountability of State-Owned Enterprises
Standards that are used to assess transparency and accountability demonstrated by state-owned enterprises were selected on the basis of analysis of relevant legislation and international standards. Hence, dominant share of selected standards are legally binding for all state-owned enterprises, while small share of them are standards that are considered good practices. Subject to analysis and ranking are the 30 largest state-owned enterprises whose revenues in 2019 amounted to 732 million euros. At the end of 2019, a total of 22,140 workers worked in these analyzed companies.
